Twas the day before Christmas December 24, 2005
Twas the day before Christmas,
and all through the house,
Tianna was excited
and running about.
Robin and I
all snug in our bed,
when hopes of 10 more minutes sleep
dashed from our heads.
When from up in the living room
there arose such a clatter.
With Tianna and the dog
and sounds of pitter patter
I arose from my slumber
and brewed the java stuff.
I made sure Tianna didn’t drink any
she was hyper-active enough.
I looked out the window
and smiled as I saw
The sky had cleared
and birds chirping above.
“Christmas is a day away!”
I jumped and exclaimed,
I turned to see my wife,
who called me a pain.
She realizes that I,
in my 32 years of living
was just like a kid
on the day of present giving.
She shook her head,
and sat down like a log,
when I suddenly became
inspired to write this blog.
Now I’m really wishing you and yours
Peace Joy and Happiness
and the excitement of children
tomorrow on Christmas.
