The No Smoking Ban December 22, 2005
I read in the paper today that the bill for banning smoking in public places (Such as bars, restaurants and the likes) has been passed unanimously.
While I’m usually the first one to criticise the government for not doing anything, I am behind them 100% on this one. There is nothing worse than being a non smoker and having to be constantly bombarded by second hand smoke in public places. It’s one of the reasons why I don’t go out as often. My early Christmas Present December 21, 2005
This morning I was greeted with a surprise. As I hopped on my bike to head into work, I noticed about half a mile down the road that it started to sound funny. The Electrical Inquisition
Listening to the news this morning, I hear that the PLP is calling for another enquiry into the power outage that the Island experienced a few months back, this in light of BELCO’s own investigations as well as Governments. While waiting for some software to install, I was randomly exploring the far reaches of the internet. I came across this book called GoodBye Kitty. Maybe it’s my warped sense of humour that found this funny, or it could be the cover illustrating a cat on it’s back with legs in the air, a la dead cockroach position.
I wonder if they are going to make a whole series?

Patricia Minors in a Christmas Carol December 19, 2005
Charity was dead to begin with, there was no doubt about that.
It was a bleak and dreary Christmas at the Salvation Army. All of the homeless, indigent and downfallen huddled in the corner of the dilapidated Salvation Army shelter for warmth. Major Lindsay Rowe called upon Patricia Minors and asked if they could have more money for another lump of coal on the fire. “I’m getting a bit fed up that every year these little campaigns start to get their funds increased.”, yelled Patricia Minors.
“But Maam, it’s Christmas and everyone is freezing. There’s a gaping …
