Tap Tap Tap…is this thing on? June 27, 2006
Hello? Hello? Anyone out there?
Sorry for the unexpected leave of absence, but I’m back. Being a new parent in the last few weeks has indeed drained some of the life out of me. Having a child, along with the flu did indeed sap every last bit of strength out of me to the point where I didn’t even have it in me to get upset about things anymore. Not to mention work duties as well as doing the exact same thing day in and day out also took the wind out of my sails. However a quick change in routine over the weekend, I’m not one for a routine lifestyle as I feel that those who live in constant routine already has one foot in the grave. So with a bit of sleep and some sunshine my energy is back, along with the rage that drives me along. 
After playing some WorldCup 2006 on the X-Box with the lads on Saturday night, and grabbing Tianna and heading out in the boat on Sunday, it was exactly what I needed. Apparently staring at the same walls every day after work while doing the required family things will suck a man dry and even depress the likes of yours truly. So my advice….go out side and play, it’s summer time after all. Mix it up a bit and try and be a bit spontaneous once in awhile.
That said, the family is doing fine (I have a Father’s Log underway so stay tuned) and you’ll never guess what I”m going to write about next…..
