Maybe a hotel isn’t the answer November 17, 2006
With the RG’s report on the Club Med deal falling through yet again, I am starting to wonder if may be we should be looking at other alternatives to that property. How long has it been vacant and how many proposals or deals have yet to come to fruition, wasting everyone’s time and hopes for that prime piece of real estate. At the very least, it’s obvious that something is fundamentally flawed in the way we are approaching potential developers of this site.
What other options are there for that area which could provide revenue for the Island, as for the last 10 or so years it has been nothing but an eyesore, probably costing the Island if anything.
