St. George’s golf course part of Club Med deal? June 2, 2008
I just heard from a reliable source that the reason why Government made the asinine decision to close St. George’s golf course 1 month into the summer season was due to it being thrown in with the Club Med deal for the new developers.
If it gets a hotel built there fine, but what thought or concession has been given to the staff that works there, considering that Port Royal is currently defunct as well?
I don’t recall seeing this made public knowledge either. Essentially this is Bermudian land that is being given away to a private resort, a little notification would be nice. Then again should I really be surprised?
